📱 BMW CarPlay Activation + Video in Motion + Android Screen Mirroring
⚠️ Only for EVO units!
When purchasing, please send us the VIN of the car (Vehicle Identification Number). Before buying, always contact us to make sure your car is compatible.
1. CarPlay Activation
For BMW F and G Series equipped with NBT EVO ID5/ID6 system (cars manufactured after 07/2016). Both ID5 and ID6 have EVO Navigation Maps.
Check your firmware version: Navigation → Options → Settings → Position & Version History → Check Version. If you have EVO Maps, you have an EVO unit.
Activation is possible even if the car has no Wi-Fi antenna, but connection requires one. Installation is simple. We can check if your unit has a Wi-Fi antenna using the car’s VIN.
2. Activation Methods
2.1 Activate via USB (Old Firmware)
For firmware versions NBTevo_H, I, J, K, L, M, N, and O: We will send you an activation file and instructions via email. Put the file on a USB flash drive, insert it into the vehicle armrest USB port, and your Navigation unit will reboot with CarPlay activated.
2.2 Activate via ENET Cable (New Firmware)
For firmware versions NBTevo_P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X, Y: You will need:

Mac or Windows 10/11 laptop with firewall & antivirus OFF
- Strong and stable internet connection
Process takes 2 minutes and requires NO COMPUTER OR CODING SKILLS — simply run our Feature Installer using the instructions provided.
3. CarPlay Full-Screen vs Split-Screen
Full-screen is available only from firmware version N (NBTevo_N, O, P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, Y, Z...). For versions H, I, J, K, L, M, only Split-Screen mode is possible. Firmware update is required for Full-Screen mode.
