2️⃣ How to Check if Your Unit is NBT EVO ID4
You can verify your iDrive version directly from the car:
Navigation → Settings → Position & Version → Version Information
If your system version contains one of the following:
- NBTevo_A
- NBTevo_C
- NBTevo_D
- NBTevo_E
- NBTevo_F
then your unit can be upgraded from ID4 to ID6 with CarPlay Full Screen.

Before starting the upgrade you will need the following:
- 📡 Wi-Fi antenna – OEM or aftermarket (must already be installed)
- 💻 Windows 10 / Windows 11 laptop with minimum 4GB RAM (8GB recommended)
- 🌐 Stable internet connection
- 📂 Flashing files – download links will be provided after purchase
- 🔌 ENET cable (not included / we do not sell it)
- 💾 Minimum 20GB free space on C drive (SSD recommended)
- 🔋 Battery stabilizer or jumper cables with another vehicle (optional but recommended for safety)
- 🖥 AnyDesk installed on your laptop
Once everything is ready, we will connect remotely to your laptop and perform the flash upgrade for you.
